For Skidsville, director Scott Carlson dived into the importance of bikes in our every day life. Intended to bring people back to specific moments in their lives, to create nostalgia, this piece summarizes a thousand reasons why bikes are awesome. The goal was to connect the viewer to the brand image of Diamondback, which has been involved in changing people’s lives ever since they made their first bike. Using nostalgic elements from pop culture, personal experience, and the rumours of a small town, Carlson and co-director Mike Hopkins really took this one to the next level.

It was a pleasure to be involved as a primary cinematographer on this piece. To see more of what Juicy is all about, and what makes them an awesome collaborator, check out their website. To return to my portfolio, click here.
